How to Enable Push Notifications on Safari on iOS

Safari on iOS does not support traditional browser push notifications. Instead, you may need to use an alternative browser that offers this feature.

Alternatively, converting your website into a Web App or a Progressive Web App (PWA) can enable device notifications. This is particularly convenient if you use WordPress, as you can simply install a free plugin to convert your site to a PWA. However, for users to receive notifications, they must first add your website to their Home Screen from Safari. Once added, your site appears as an app on the Home Screen. Users then need to subscribe to push notifications through this app to start receiving alerts.

This method allows iOS users to receive notifications similarly to how they would from native apps, enhancing user engagement without needing a fully native application.
